How do you choose a sink?
First and foremost a sink needs to be functional for your needs.
You might spend hours debating the cabinet style and stain color you are selecting but don't overlook the importance of your kitchen sink. With the assistance of your Weiler's Kitchen Designer you will be able to choose the sink that will work best for you.
Bowls can be between 6"-12" deep - the deeper the sink the less likely a splash. Do you need to accomodate a large cooking pot? And keep in mind your reach if you are very tall or very short. The size of the sink also depends directly on the size of the cabinets. Do you like the look of a Stainless Steel sink or a Corian sink in a Corian countertop? The lower the gauge the thicker the steel on a stainless steel sink. Also remember to listen to the noise made by running water and dropping items into a sink.
