This kitchen combines the modern white cabinets with the traditional brown island and range for an updated farmhouse aesthetic. All cabinets are Wellborn, the white are MDF in the paint oyster and the island, range, and bar are Maple wood in the stain drift. This color scheme is right on trend as people look for a compromise between stark white and classic brown kitchens. Lighting includes pendants above the island and table, high hats, under cabinet/range, and inner cabinet lighting in the bar. These clients opted for an in-wall oven and microwave/oven combination, giving a higher end appearance and allowing for more cabinet space beneath their gas stovetop. For their backsplash they chose San Marcos tile in the color tortora matte, the lighter color provides a nice bridge between the two shades of cabinetry. The countertop is Cambria quartz in the design Colton. This project came together as a beautiful addition to their home and was a joy to design.
